Direct-Entry PhD - Physiology, University of Toronto (2022-Present)

Kadis Lab - The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto

Under the supervision of Dr. Darren Kadis at SickKids, I am pursuing my PhD in Physiology at the University of Toronto. For my thesis, I am working on modelling language networks in typical and atypical networks.

Individual brain network models are constructed with neural mass models integrating data from multimodal neuroimaging data (MEG, DwMRI, fMRI). In collaboration with the Whole Brain Modelling Group, led by Dr. John Griffiths, we use a machine-learning based parameter optimization library (WhoBPyt) to fit neurophysiological parameters in the model allowing us to infer neural population mechanisms supporting emergent macro-scale brain activity.
